What exactly voids the workmanship/labor warranty?

Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home?

The warranty is transferable one time but Empire will need to be notified of the transfer for the warranty to stay in place.

Who handles warranty claims — your company or the manufacturer?

You can come to us for all warranty claims. We will handle any issues with shingles we’ve installed with Owens Corning directly and are your direct contact for any labor warranty questions.

What happens if your company closes in 5 years?

We are one of the only roofing companies in Kentucky that offers their own 10 year labor warranty. Should something unforeseen occur, the warranty would not be transferable to another company.

Can I see the actual warranty paperwork before signing?

Both the manufacturer’s warranty on your shingles, siding or gutters is included in the contract along with our 10 year labor warranty.

Have you ever had a manufacturer deny one of your warranty claims?

We are Owens Corning Platinum preferred Contractors and have a great relationship with our shingle manufacturer. We have not had issues with warranty claims and wouldn’t recommend a shingle that we didn’t stand behind.
